MIHOW
 |
The
Maternal Infant Health Outreach Worker (MIHOW) program is built on the
idea that all children deserve a healthy start in life. By
providing a baby's mother with information, emotional support, links to needed
services, and by focusing on the family's strengths, the MIHOW worker
promotes a good start for a new baby. |
| The MIHOW program supports families from
the time of pregnancy until the child is three years old.
Home visits to the families are made once a month, a baby pantry
with baby clothes, diapers, formula, baby food, and books help supply
needs that the families are not able to meet.
May 8, 2009 Henderson Settlement received
accreditation from Vanderbilt University. |
