Families in need can
register to use the Settlement's food pantry. Each family
can visit the pantry once a month to pick up a box of food
containing enough food items to feed a family for three to five
days.
Although the number of
families using the food pantry fluctuates throughout the year,
we serve an average of 185 families each month.
One thing that really helps our food
pantry ministry is our collaboration with
God's Pantry, an
organization located in Lexington, KY. Through their
assistance we can purchase food at a drastically reduced rate,
making each dollar stretch farther to help families in need.
